Vegas. Who's ready to go home broke?

John flew towards Vegas with Shan flying beside him. He smiled at her and was happy that they had managed to buy some blood for her so she wouldn't expire, and he wouldn't pass out from keeping her alive. He nodded to a low building and descended from the sky, landing on it with ease. He tucked in his wings and waited for Shan.

Shan landed. She stumbled forward a little.

John held his arms put and caught Shan as she stumbled forward. "Still working on landing then?" He asked her as he removed his arms from her person.

[Shan]

"Working on it," she laughed.

[Dylan]

John laughed as well and kissed her. He turned and lead her off the roof. Once they were on the street he whispered to her, "You wanted to come here, it's your turn to take the lead."

[Shan]

Shan nodded and looked around. There was a burning on her hand. "Ow."

She looked at it and was surprised to see her burn had gotten smaller. she looked back up and smiled. "Okay... We need to find the Black Azalia shop. It's hard to find."

[Dylan]

John smiled and took her hand in his. "Just lead the way. We'll find it." He said to her reassuringly and waited for her to start walking.

[Shan]

Shan, despite herself, ran with him, laughing and giggling as she went. She didn't know how fast she was going.

[Dylan]

John ran as best as he could but eventually she got to fast for him to keep up with. He laughed and said to her, "Slow down! I feel like I'm about to lose an arm!"

[Shan]

Shan turned, her smile flashing and her fangs out slightly. "We're close, John! Can't you just feel it? It's like lightning running through me!"

[Dylan]

John came up to her and whispered to her so the people around couldn't hear what he had to say. "It must be a vampire thing. I can't feel anything, Shan." He said to her his golden eyes showing the truth in his words.

[Shan]

"Did you know Vegas is run by witches?" Shan asked him. She grinned. "Circles Midnight, Daybreak and Twilight. They run thirds of the town each. Thats why casinos are so competative. The Circles hate each other. Well... Midnight and Twilight do. Daybreak is peace loving."

[Dylan]

"Well then, you learn something new every night." John said to her indicating that he didn't know that till now.

[Shan]

"There's plenty to teach you, John. And plenty for me to learn," she said. "And read out from that special sign over there which can only be read by werewolves, vampires and other paranormal creatures."

[Dylan]

"I'm not paranormal, Shan. I'm someone's lab rat that got free." John said to her after trying to read the sign.

[Shan]

Shan frowned at him. She kissed him on the lips and frowned. "Since when do I date lab rats, silly," Shan corrected, using her unimpressed face.

[Dylan]

John kissed her back and sighed a bit. "OK you win. I'm not a lab rat, I'm your winged boyfriend." He said to her trying to get her to smile again.

[Shan]

Shan broke into a grin. Then froze. Sheleapt beyond him and ran after a shadow. "John! Come on!"

[Dylan]

"What? What's wrong, Shan?" John called out to her as he ran after her.

[Shan]

"I don't know. It's someone," Shan called back as she ran. She made it to the dead end of an alley and turned. She had a bad feeling.

[Dylan]

John chased after her till she stopped at the end of the alley. He stood next to her and looked around. He spread his wings feeling like something was wrong.
